Born and raised in the Shenandoah Mountains of Virginia I made my way down to Georgia in August of 2000.  I spent my first four years at Emmanuel College where I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.  After E.C. I moved down to Augusta following a cute blonde (pictured here) and began teaching in the CSRA, we've been here ever since.  We're in the process of raising four humans named Callie, Meghan, Caderyn and Lydia Joy.  This is my third year at Greenbrier High School and my 13th year as a teacher.  

 

When I'm not teaching I've been known to try all sorts of hobbies such as real estate, woodworking, kayaking, beekeeping, martial arts, hiking and international travel.

Each year I travel with a group of students internationally - I'm particularly fascinated by central and South America.
